Welcome to The Bushcraft Company, the ultimate antidote to the creeping epidemic of cotton-wool kids. This is outdoor education in its most literal sense, where the learning curve is steeper than the north face of the Eiger.

Health & Safety

The benefits of outdoor education are well known and it is widely considered to be an excellent way to aid the development of young people. We aim to reduce risk to the lowest reasonable level and whilst this cannot be eliminated entirely, the safety of students and staff is of paramount importance to us. A full Health and Safety pack will be sent to you upon booking, and you may request to see our policies, procedures and risk assessments at any time. Our Safety Management System consists of five main components:

  • The Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (Lotc) is the national voice for learning outside the classroom. This organisation ensures that the quality of our outdoor education provision meets their stringent standards. Our certificates are available to download below and will also be sent to you upon booking.
