Our Ethos

We believe in real outdoor adventures. Our aim is not simply to give students a taste of adventure, but to inspire a lifetime of it. We want to open their eyes to everything the natural world has to offer and give them the confidence and skills to explore it.

Founder's Note

"We set up The Bushcraft Company because we wanted to give children the same adventures we remember from our childhoods. It is of the utmost importance to me on a personal level that children are connected to the natural world. There is so much to see, so many places to explore and so many new things to try. Our goal is to make all of this accessible to everyone, by providing affordable school trips that cater to every schools' needs, whether it's your budget, curriculum, schedule or your students' individual requirements.

Over the years, our customers have returned time and time again, and our courses have become a fixed event in the school calendar. To find out why our schools come back to us, please see our testimonials. If you would like to speak to me directly or to arrange for me to visit your school, please email alex@thebushcraftcompany.com."

Our Blog

Well that’s a wrap… What a summer it’s been! With our Camp Wilderness adventures finished for the year, it’s about time we looked back at the incredible time we’ve had in the woods.

When most adults look back to their childhoods, chances are some of the fondest memories took place outdoors. Regardless of the activity, those simple playful memories tend to be the ones that stick, long into adulthood.
